The New World Traveler
I have been teaching for 15 years and I am busy preparing for my first journey overseas. I will be traveling to the country of Bangladesh, which is located in South Asia near the countries of India, Bhutan, and Burma (Myanmar). While I am there, I will be observing the educational system, working with computer youth camps, and sightseeing. I will be spending time in the capital city of Dhaka and the city of Comilla. After an exciting trip to Chicago last week, Step One of the trip has been completed, I now have my passport and working on gaining a visa into the country. I also have part of the Second Step completed. Getting vaccines and shots. Ouch!!!

I want to go to Bhutan! They monitor the country's Gross National Happiness!

Bhutan is also the only country in the world to ban smoking. I will be near the border of Bhutan on my trip, but will not have a visa to enter that country. It would be fun though!!
