Travel Plans
I will be flying out on Friday April 16, with a stop in Chicago and Abu Dhabi before arriving in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Sunday the 18th. This will be my first trip overseas and only my third airplane trip in my life. If you have any suggestions for my travel please leave me a comment. I wish I could leave the airport and explore the United Arab Emirates, but I know that is not allowed. I would perfer a window seat, especially when I fly over the Middle East and Europe, but we will see what I get. The route from Chicago to Abu Dhabi will take me over Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

The New World Traveler
I have been teaching for 15 years and I am busy preparing for my first journey overseas. I will be traveling to the country of Bangladesh, which is located in South Asia near the countries of India, Bhutan, and Burma (Myanmar). While I am there, I will be observing the educational system, working with computer youth camps, and sightseeing. I will be spending time in the capital city of Dhaka and the city of Comilla. After an exciting trip to Chicago last week, Step One of the trip has been completed, I now have my passport and working on gaining a visa into the country. I also have part of the Second Step completed. Getting vaccines and shots. Ouch!!!
